TG Missouri earns $112K rebate after upgrading energy efficiency

TG Missouri Corporation’s Perryville facility has announced that it has received a $112,060 Power Moves® rebate from Citizens Electric Corporation, recognizing a series of energy efficiency upgrades that align with the company’s commitment to sustainability and its goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2030.

The rebate was reportedly earned through a combination of high-efficiency equipment upgrades, process improvements, and strategic energy-saving initiatives that have significantly reduced the facility’s overall energy use. These improvements not only lowered operational costs but also helped TG Missouri move closer to its long-term environmental targets.

Dylan Carpenter, the environmental project engineer who led the project, credited the team’s collective effort in making the achievement possible through the collaborative efforts of many TG Missouri employees across various departments, noting that their teamwork, innovation, and dedication to continuous improvement played a vital role in reaching this milestone.

“This rebate is a direct reflection of the dedication and collaboration shown by our entire team,” Carpenter said. “From maintenance and engineering to production and leadership — everyone played a role in helping us move closer to our carbon neutrality goal.”

With a strong foundation in business and environmental science, Carpenter combines strategic planning with technical expertise to help guide TG Missouri’s sustainability initiatives.
