PHS announces 2026 Homecoming court

Perryville High School has announced its 2026 Homecoming Court. The court will ride in the Homecoming parade on Saturday, Oct. 17, and the King and Queen will be crowned during halftime of the football game.

Senior candidates include; Kristina Kishbaugh, child of Sunshine Flentge and Ian Layton, Gunner Britt, child of Heather and Austin Britt, Leah Bell, child of Letitia and Wesley Bell, Riley Kemp, child of Rebecca and Jim Kemp, Paige Berkbigler, child of Megan and David Berkbigler, and Cabren Kirn, child of Tracy Watkins.

Junior representatives include; Charli Gerler, child of Jaimy and Christopher Brown, and Kaden Lane, child of Nicole and Thomas Lane.

Sophomore representative incclude; Grace Buchheit, child of Carrie and Ryan Buchheit, and Jasper Burress-Johnson, child of Thomas Johnson and Lindsey Law.

Freshman representatives include; Bailey Barnett, child of Randi Barnett, and Easton Bader, child of Jamie and Todd Bader.

A full slate of homecoming events are scheduled for Sunday, October 11, and Saturday, October 17.

The Buccaneer Bash will kick things off Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Pirate Stadium parking lot. Powder Puff Football will follow at 5:30. The snake dance will be at 6:40 and the homecoming bonfire will begin at 7 p.m.

The homecoming parade kicks things off Saturday at 10 a.m. The parade will begin at City Park and end on campus, PHS alumni veterans will serve as grand marshals. The football game against Herculaneum will follow at 1 p.m. The student homecoming dance at the Perry Park Center will end the festivities at 8 p.m. Saturday.
