Community members and businesses are being invited to take part in the upcoming Don Welge Memorial Bridge opening celebration, scheduled for July 2026, through a variety of sponsorship opportunities.
The event will celebrate the opening of the new bridge and is expected to bring together residents from across the region for a day of activities, including an opening run and walk.
Organizers are offering multiple sponsorship levels for those who wish to support the celebration. A $1,500 sponsorship includes a logo on event shirts and programs, signage on the day of the event and promotion on the event’s Facebook page. A $1,000 sponsorship includes a name on event shirts and programs, along with recognition on social media. A $500 sponsorship includes a name listed in the event program.
Proceeds from sponsorships will help fund the celebration and related activities.
The event is being coordinated in part by the Perry County Economic Development Authority.
