Robert “Bob” E. Buck, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and logger, passed away on February 18, 2024, in Perryville, at the age of 80.
Bob was born on September 14, 1943, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Woodrow Buck and Ida Mae Taylor. He dedicated many years of his life to his work as a Logger at the Bailey Sawmill in Perryville, Missouri, where he showcased his strong work ethic and dedication. Bob also had a deep passion for farming, which he pursued with great enthusiasm.

Bob will be deeply missed by his surviving family, including his children: Daniel Buck and wife Rebecca of Ironton; Robert Buck; Bobbie Bailey and husband Karl of Saint James; Angel Menefee of Camdenton; Tracy Pistel and husband Kevin of Lohman; stepsons Mike Helms of Perryville and Arron Helms of St. Louis, brother Gary Buck of Perryville, sisters Rhonda Stuever (Joe) of Dexter; Marylin Taylor of Louisiana, and his eleven grandchildren: Rachel and Wendy Bailey, Katie, Janie, Danielle, Woody Buck, Harley, Zachary, Landen Waggoner, Brian, and Joey Scanlan.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara Buck, his son Billy Joe Buck, his granddaughter Ashley Lynn Bailey, and his sisters Shirley Apollo, Wilma Stroup, and Norma Giesler.
