It makes us sad that some people are opposed to Prop KIDS. We elected our Board of Education to analyze and evaluate, and to make recommendations to meet the needs of our students at Perry County School District. The board members have done their job, it is our job to support them.
Was your home or business damaged or destroyed by the March 2025 tornado? Have you completed your repairs/renovations by now in July 2026? Did you improve your property to better meet your needs as you repaired/renovated? Most of us had some insurance money to cover our expenses. However, most of us had to pull out our checkbooks.
Put yourself in the shoes of a teacher, or a student, trying to achieve their educational goals in the current learning environment. It is time for our school campus to be renovated from tornado damage. It is time to improve the property to better meet the needs of our students. Don’t we all want better for our children and grandchildren?
