The Perryville Garden Club met at the Robinson Event Center at 6:00 on Wednesday May 20.
Club president Ruth Brown welcomed members and guests before a meal was served
Brown then introduced the speakers for the evening, Vennie Leuckel and Joann Hemingway. They presented a program about making Kombucha tea, a fermented blend tea and probiotic supplement that can have health benefits. Members were able to sample the tea. The recipe was distributed and it will be posted online.
Activities Director Vennie Leuckel reviewed the upcoming activities that the Club will be doing, such as touring a members garden and visiting a hosta garden.
The Club would like to thank the community for their wonderful support at the plant sale. We hold this sale as a community event in which the club offers reasonably priced, locally grown indoor and outdoor plants to beginning through experienced gardeners.
