PCCF brings Purposity app to Perry County

Posted

The Perry County Community Foundation (PCCF) has announced its sponsorship of Purposity, a mobile app that makes it easy for community members to meet real needs in Perry County.

Purposity, a blend of the words purpose and generosity, helps people turn good intentions into action. Through the app, users can view and fulfill specific needs posted by trusted local organizations — such as Perry County School District 32 and Options for Women — ensuring that every act of kindness goes directly to someone in our community.

“At PCCF, we believe that small acts of kindness can make a big difference,” said Natalie Lorenz, Chairperson. “Purposity gives everyone in Perry County a simple, secure, and meaningful way to support their neighbors.”

How It Works:

  1. Download the App: Get Purposity on your phone and follow local partners to see verified needs.
  2. See Real Needs: Local nonprofits and schools post items needed by individuals and families. 3. Meet the Need: With just a click, purchase an item directly through the app using Apple Pay or another payment method. 4. Deliver Kindness: Your donation is sent to the organization, which ensures the item reaches the person in need — privately and respectfully.
