OUR STUDENTS DESERVE BETTER

Posted

Dear Editor

As a Christian, I believe we’re called to think beyond ourselves — to invest in others, to build up what we’ve been entrusted with and to leave things better than we found them. That calling doesn’t stop at the church doors. It extends into our homes, our businesses and our community. Right now, we have a choice in front of us with Prop K.I.D.S.

A healthy community doesn’t turn inward and hold tight to what it has. It looks outward. It invests. It grows. Because when we stop investing in the next generation, we’re not standing still — we’re falling behind.

Our schools are one of the clearest reflections of who we are. They shape our kids, support our families and influence whether people choose to stay here, move here or invest here.

This isn’t just about facilities or funding. It’s about stewardship.

Our high school has been outdated for years, and our students deserve better. They deserve a modern learning environment that prepares them for the world they’re growing into — one that supports today’s technology, teaching methods and opportunities.

For too long, limited funding and aging infrastructure have held us back from making the improvements our schools truly need. Now, we have the opportunity to change that. The question is whether we’re willing to step up, take responsibility and invest in a future that gives our children the tools they need to succeed.

Supporting Prop K.I.D.S. is a decision to invest in people, not just for today, but for decades to come.

I encourage you to learn more, ask questions and be a part of what can be a brighter future.

Because strong communities don’t happen by accident. They’re built by people who choose to invest in something bigger than themselves.
