The Beta Lambda chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa met Nov. 4 with the theme “Move Forward in Compassion.”

President Glenda Gremaud called the meeting to order and thanked hostesses Delores Conrad, Stacey Littleton, Tammie Lukefahr and Janet Schuessler, along with hospitality committee members Hayley Kasten and Kathe Ramsey.

The program featured a presentation about the Perryville Middle School Girls’ Club. Members also contributed to the chapter’s ongoing altruistic project, Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Twenty-three members and one guest attended, responding to Kathy Scholl’s roll-call question: “Name the year of a memorable Thanksgiving in your life.” Jayne Bohnert won the attendance prize, and Tammie Lukefahr was recognized as the chapter’s lone November birthday celebrant.

The next meeting will be held at York Chapel and will feature the annual Christmas party and Pound Auction. Members are asked to bring a wrapped item to be auctioned.
