Dear editor,
Amendment 3 is not about protecting trans kids from surgeries and medications. Missouri law already has provisions for this.
The real focus of Amendment 3 is to remove medical protections and decisions from pregnant women and their doctors.
The desire is to overturn an amendment that Missourians have already approved to safeguard these protections for women.
We already said NO to extreme abortion restrictions. We emphatically said NO to the August attempt to severely restrict our ability to advance citizens’ initiatives. We also said NO the state government’s attempt to eliminate the income tax and replace it with a legislative controlled sales tax. It’s time to say NO to Amendment 3!
We also need to elect legislators who understand that No means NO!
