The Addams Family Musical is scheduled to open Friday at the PerryPark Center with performances scheduled for 7 p.m. July 10-11 and 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12.

The cast includes more than 40 people. Book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa. Based on characters created by Charles Addams. The show is directed by Robbie Riehn, with Music Director Terry Rousseau, and Choreographed by Stefani Mayfield.

The Addams Family Musical, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and a dilemma that’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family — a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother.
