The Missouri State highway patrol responded to a wreck at approximately 4:35 p.m. on Thursday, June 4.
According to the MSHP, two 17 year old males in a 2012 Ford Fusion were involved in the wreck.
The wreck occurred on Missouri Highway 51 north of Perry County Road 706 when the driver of the Ford heading northbound attempted to pass a slow moving farm implement and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle travelled off the left side of the highway and overturned.
Both the driver and passenger of the overturned vehicle were transferred to Mercy Hospital by ambulance. The driver was treated for moderate injuries and the passenger was treated for minor injuries.
The crashed vehicle was towed from the scene.
