Missouri's National Veterans Memorial (MNVM) is proud to announce the winner of its inaugural Student Brochure Competition, a remarkable initiative aimed at engaging young minds in honoring the sacrifices and valor of our Nation's Veterans. The ceremony will be held in the Welcome Center’s Event Room, this Friday, March 1 at 1 pm and is open to the public.
After careful consideration of numerous submissions from talented students from Perryville Area Career and Technology Center’s (PACTC) Graphics Design Program, the judging panel is pleased to award first place to a student who demonstrated exceptional creativity, insight, and respect for our Veterans through a thoughtful and compelling brochure design, Miss Kaelyn Goehman.
The competition invited students to create informative and visually appealing brochure that highlight the significance of MNVM and its mission to pay tribute to all of our service men and women and their families and provide an environment for peaceful reflection.

"The students and staff have worked so very hard, and all their efforts are truly invaluable," said Rae Lynn Munoz, Executive Director of Missouri's National Veterans Memorial. "It's truly inspiring to see the younger generation actively involved in preserving the legacy of our Veterans and ensuring that their stories are never forgotten. As we know, today's youth are our leaders and more importantly our Veterans of tomorrow. "
The winning brochure design will be professionally printed, then debuted at MNVM’s annual fundraiser, L.O.V our Veterans in St. Louis at the Hilton Frotenac on Saturday, March 9. MNVM’s Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers extends its sincere gratitude to all the students who participated in the competition, as well as to the teachers that supported and encouraged their students' involvement.
MNVM’s Welcome Center and Museum are open 7 days a week from 11 am to 3 pm and all outdoor monuments/campus grounds are open 24 hours a day.
