Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial (MNVM) hosted a special Founders Plaque Dedication Ceremony on Tuesday, March 31, at the MNVM Welcome Center.
The ceremony honored the individuals whose leadership, generosity, and unwavering belief in the mission of MNVM helped bring the Memorial to life.
According to MNVM Executive Director Rae Lynn Munoz, the Founders Plaque recognizes those who laid the foundation for what has become a place of reflection, education, and remembrance for veterans and visitors from across the nation.
Honorees included founders Jim and Charlene Eddleman; founding board members Frank Robinson, Todd Huber, Michael and Vicki Lundy and Don Fulford; current board members Brent Buerck, Paul Gard, David Crader, Kate Martin and Roger Wibbemeyer; and Executive Director Nancy Guth.
“This dedication is an opportunity to recognize the vision and commitment of those who made MNVM possible,” said Munoz. “Their efforts created a lasting tribute to service and sacrifice that will impact generations to come. I am truly honored to have the privilege to build on the foundation they set.”
The ceremony was open to the public, and community members were encouraged to attend and join in honoring the foundational leaders.
