Dear Editor
I am writing to express my support for the Prop K.I.D.S. school bond issue to repair and update the school campus after the tornado damage a year ago.
The strength of a community is law enforcement, health care and education. We need to look forward and support the future. One of our prime civic duties is to provide our children with an excellent K-12 education.
We are retired with no grandchildren in the area. We plan to vote for this bond issue because it is the right thing to do for the future of our community. The benefits of a first-rate school district far outweigh the inconvenience of a small tax increase.
