Kenneth Gene Kaempfe, 91, of Perryville, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Missouri Veterans Home In Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 30, 1932 in Farrar, MO to Edmund T. and Minna M. (Verseman) Kaempfe.
Kenny and Patsy M. Joy were married October 24, 1959 in Perryville.
He served in the United States Army.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
Kenny worked as a Shop Foreman at Crown Equipment in Perryville. He was a member of American Legion #133 and the Gateway Farm Toy Club. He was known to be an avid John Deere collector.
Survivors include his Wife; Son, Tim (Julie) Kaempfe of Perryville; Daughter, Karen (Darrell Hecht) Clifton of Frohna; five Grandchildren, Kristen (Justin) Siemers of Cape Girardeau, Andrew (Brittney) Clifton of Murray, KY; Madeline (Mason Lonborg) Kaempfe of Dallas, TX; Emma Kaempfe of Balwin, MO; Grace Kaempfe of Balwin; two Great-Grandchildren, Josephine Siemers, Ryleigh Jo Clifton.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Eight Brothers, Ilmer Kaempfe, Erwin Kaempfe, Arnold Kaempfe, Milton Kaempfe, Vernon Kaempfe, Lester Kaempfe, Robert Kaempfe, Lloyd Kaempfe; Sister, Irma Hacker; .
Visitation was Monday, November 27, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
Funeral Service was Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating.
Military Honors were presented by American Legion #133 and the Delta Team. Burial was at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville. Memorial contributions may be given to the Immanuel Lutheran School and the Immanuel Lutheran Broadcast Fund.
