Heather Nicole Miget-Spear, 48, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born September 17, 1975 in Perryville, MO to Kenneth C. Miget and Charlotte A. (Lukefahr) Miget.
Heather married Don Spear on November 23, 2013.
Heather served people throughout her life. She shared her smile, her cackling laughter, and witty sense of humor with many through serving as a waitress, a bartender, an ambulance EMT, and an EMTand security supervisor at the casino in Cape Girardeau.
Even though she did not always enjoy cooking in her early years, she loved cooking dumplings and pie with her Grandma Lukefahr. It was her Grandma Miget that sparked her love of fishing.
Heather loved animals and spent time volunteering at Mac’s Mission, a shelter for dogs with special needs. Her other great love was her family and friends. Spending time with those she loved was what she did. Heather had an infectious laugh and smile with the ability to make anyone she met feel special and loved, like they were her best friend.
