Perry County officials are mourning the passing of former longtime County Assessor Larry White, who served the county and its residents for more than two decades.
In a statement released this week, county officeholders and staff said White carried out his duties “with professionalism, fairness and a strong sense of responsibility to the public,” noting that his work left a lasting impact on county government and on the people who worked alongside him.
White retired after more than 20 years of service, during which he was widely respected for his commitment to accuracy, integrity, and public service.
County officials expressed gratitude for White’s years of dedication to Perry County and extended their condolences to his family, friends, and former colleagues during this difficult time.
