Chamber announces new board at annual membership meeting

The 2025 Perryville Area Chamber of Commerce Membership Meeting, held Jan. 16 at the Robinson Event Center, was attended by around 200 members and guests.

Following the cocktail hour, dinner was served. The program then began with a slide presentation of chamber events from the previous year and the introduction of the 2025 board of directors: Melissa Hoehn, president; Brandie Mantz, vice president; Amy Hager, secretary/treasurer; Shannon Allison, Annie Bouwens, Emily Blyzes, Jamie Robinson, Janet Squibb, Shannon Tarrillion, Devan Taylor and Greg Yamnitz.

The evening featured tables decorated in a variety of themes provided by the following table sponsors: Baer Engineering, LLC; Citizens Electric Corporation; CN Dents Paintless Dent Repair; Cross Trails Medical System, First State Community Bank; Fly Me Home, HSB Advisors, LLC, Hoeckele Bakery and Deli; Independence Health System, Inc.; Kueker’s Nursery & Landscaping; Mary Jane Burgers & Brew, LLC; Mercy Perry; Mineral Area College – Perryville; Moonier Florest; Perry County Extension Council; Perry County Farm Bureau, Perryville Area Chamber of Commerce; Perryville Area Higher Education; Reliable Community Title Co. At the end of the evening, one diner at each table won the centerpiece.

Next up, milestone chamber membership anniversaries were recognized. Fifty-year members were Rob Roy Nursery & Landscaping Inc. and VFW Post 4282. Twenty-five-year members were Brewer Graphics, Inc.; City Tavern; Dan’s Auto Body and Repair, LLC; M&M Kids Kampus; Mineral Area College – Perryville; Rollet Bros. Trucking Co. Inc.; Scott J. Hotop, CPA; Stonie’s Sausage Shop, Inc.; and Dr. Dennis Amschler, DDS.

The Perryville Area Chamber of Commerce staff are Renee Lottes, executive director, and Alex Lueders, director of operations.

The evening concluded with music played by the local musical group Umbra.
