Ballot candidates announced for April 8 election

PERRYVILLE — Perryville's April 8 municipal election candidates have been set. The filing deadline was Dec. 31.

The following candidates filed for two-year terms on the city’s board of aldermen: Ward 1 – Seth W. Amschler (incumbent); Ward 2 – Douglas K. Martin (incumbent) and Kate Martin; and Ward 3 – David J. Schumer (incumbent).

Additionally, the following candidates have filed for two open seats on the Perry County School District 32 Board of Education for three-year terms: Dominic Blythe (incumbent) and Alexandria Lueders. The filing deadline for the school board was also Dec. 31.
