There are a lot of ways to say “thank you” on Mother’s Day — flowers, cards, maybe even letting Mom sleep in — but the American Legion is offering a way to say it with a full plate and a hot cup of coffee.
The American Legion will host its annual Mother’s Day Breakfast Buffet on Sunday, May 10, serving from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The buffet will feature a hearty selection of breakfast favorites, including scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, pancakes, French toast, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and coffee cake prepared by the Ladies Aux. Milk, orange juice and coffee are also included.
The cost is $13 for adults, while children ages 6 to 12 can eat for $7, and children 5 and under eat free.
Organizers encourage families to bring their mothers, grandmothers and loved ones out for a relaxed morning meal and time together. The event has become a local tradition, offering both a convenient and meaningful way to celebrate the holiday.
Whether it’s a table full of pancakes or simply time spent together, the breakfast buffet provides a chance to make Mother’s Day a little more special for the women who mean the most.
