Adams earns top JCAA Conference honor

The St. Vincent girls soccer team had a fantastic season and it shows in the amount of postseason awards the Indians garnered recently. Six players were named to the Jefferson County Athletic Association All-Conference team.
Lana Adams earned the top individual award as the JCAA Player of the Year to go along with a first team selection. Adams led the team with big offensive numbers with 32 goals and 27 assists.
Cailyn Prost was the other first team selection as she was the recipient of many of Adams’ passes as she had 21 goals and 13 assists.
Kamille Graham, Allie Strattman, and Rylee Robinson were each named to the second team.
Graham had four goals and seven assists this past season, while Strattman had two goals and four assists in a defensive role.
Robinson scored three goals and had three assists this season.
Addi Schnurbusch was named honorable mention. She had one assist.
All-District
Adams, Prost, Robinson, and Haley Emmendorfer were named to the Class 3, District 1 team.
Emmendorfer had 10 goals and 12 assists. Schnurbusch was named honorable mention.

Perryville
Perryville won the JCAA Conference and were well compensated when it came to postseason awards.
Kyla Schnurbusch, Rachel Riney, and Alyssa King were named first team all conference.
Schnurbusch led the team with both 27 goals and 16 assists, Riney controlled much of the midfielder action for Perryville this season as she scored nine goals and had 13 assists this spring.
King was the primary defender that moved back to help replacing Anna Gremaud, who won the Class 2 Defensive Player of the Year. King also had three goals and six assists this season.
Ava Ernst and Carlie Holdman were named second team, while Ashlyn Rodewald, and Brooklyn Moll were honorable.
Ernst scored 19 goals and had seven assists and Holdman had 13 goals and 13 assists.
Rodewald had three goals and five assists while Moll recorded 14 assists and had a n 86 save percentage.
All-District
Schnurbusch, Riney, King Ernst, and Moll were named first team all district for Class 2, District 1.
Holdman and Rodewald were named to the second team.
