Weldon Francis Schremp, 94, of Perryville, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
He was born February 23, 1930 in McBride, MO to Arthur Vincent and Bernice (Mattingly) Schremp.
Weldon and Patricia Fenwick were married April 25, 1953 at Christ the Savior Church in Brewer, MO. She proceeded him in death.
He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
Weldon served in the United States Air Force and was an over the road truck driver all his adult life. He was a very special and caring uncle and would have given his shirt off his back to help anyone. He had a deep love for dogs.
Weldon’s wishes were to have his body donated to science.
Survivors include two sons, William Schremp, Mark Schremp; daughter, Victoria Schremp; sister-in-law, Velda Schremp; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia Schremp; four brothers, Hubert Schremp, Elvis Schremp, Howard Schremp, Glennon Schremp; three sisters, Lavern Marr, Betty DeRousse, Shirley Mattingly.
Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, MO with Rev. Clay Kilborn C.M. officiating.
