Wayne A. Petot

Wayne Aloysius Petot, 77, of Perryville passed away Monday, Jan. 10, 2022 in the comfort of his home.
He was born Aug. 16, 1944 in Perryville to Alves and Helen (Cerney) Petot.
He and April “Kay” Heberlie were married at St. Bonafice Catholic Church in 1965.
Wayne was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church.
Wayne loved to garden, collect antiques, woodwork, fish, camp, and spending time outdoors. Most of all Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Petot of Florissant, Daniel Petot of St. Louis; daughter, Kimberly Petot of Perryville; brother, Dale Petot of Arnold. .

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother, Roland Petot; two sisters, Thelma Robinett, Madonna Bruce.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Visitation will continue from 8-9:30 am on Saturday Jan. 15, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan.15, 2022 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Fr. Joe Geders C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
