The Yankee Lady B-17 from the Yankee Air Museum will be making a stop at the Perryville Airport Thursday, Oct. 14.
The plane is tentatively set to arrive at 11:30 a.m.
They will be there for visitors to view the aircraft.
The B-17, also known as the "Flying Fortress," was a U.S. bomber used during World War II. It was designed by Boeing in 1934 in response to an Army Air Corps specification that called for a four-engine bomber when at the time two engines were the norm.
The aircraft has a win span of 103 feet, nine inches and a gross weight of 65,600 pounts. There were 12,731 of these airplanes build. They had a max speed of 287 mph and a cruising speed of 160 mph.
