The Perryville High School students who will be performing “Seussical” from April 10 through 12 at Perry Park Center aren’t about to let anything — including a tornado — get in the way of presenting a musical experience for the community.

“Things have been pretty chaotic with the tornado and everything, but thanks to the First Presbyterian Church letting us use their basement for our rehearsals, it is really coming along,” said director Jennifer Birk-Cook. “We’re performing Seussical the Musical on Thursday, April 10; Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12 at the Perry Park Center Theatre. All three performances begin at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in the Perry Park Center theatre lobby. If for some reason no one is in the lobby with tickets, pop your head in the theatre and ask for JBC. This really is going to be a fabulous show!”

According to musical director Taylor Davis, the show is family-friendly.

“The show takes many characters from the beloved Dr. Seuss stories of childhood and puts them together with a fabulous musical score that is very fast-paced and super fun. Perfect for all ages, it will be a very enjoyable experience for everyone! Please help us fill our seats at the Perry Park Center by spreading the word.”
