Palmer E. Fritsche, 85, of Perryville died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Dec.16, 1935 in Perryville to Edwin H. and Laura (Koenig) Fritsche.
He and Lois J. Allen were married at United Methodist Church in Perryville on June 26, 1982. She survives in Perryville.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Palmer was a Dairy Farmer his whole life. He loved his wife, family, his home, and spending time with his dog Heidi.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Deborah (Peter) Diiorio of Hudson, Fla., Tina (Jim) Hutchins of Clearwater, FL; two step-children, Richard (Margie) Kramer Sr. of Perryville, Mona (Greg) Chamness of Millersville; one brother, Cletus (Jeanette) Fritsche of St. Louis; one sister, Carol (Delbert) Lohmann of Creve Coeur; three grandchildren, Jeremiah (Lisa) Wagner, Jessica (Jason) Swan, Danielle Hutchins; five step-grandchildren, Richard Kramer Jr., Daniel (Laura) Kramer, Matthew (Ronda) Kramer, Maria Kramer, Michelle (Jacob) McIntosh; four great-grandchildren, nine step-great-grandchildren, and one step-great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Harriet Rahe, Lorna Fritsche; and one grandson, Alan Otte.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville. Visitation will continue on Friday 8:30-10 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville with the Rev. Joseph Schlie officiating.
Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
