Merlin “Magic” Rollet, 71, of Ozora. died Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Mercy South in St. Louis.
He was born December 5, 1951 in Perryville.
He married MaryAnn (Naeger) Rollet on June 1, 1991
He was a member of Little Saline Sportsman Club, American Legion Post 133 of Perryville, VFW Post 4282 of Perryville, Perry County Sportsman Club, AmVets Post 94, National Wild Turkey Federation, KC Hall in Perryville and Perryville Eagles 4034. Merlin was an avid hunter mostly of turkey and deer. Merlin was a proud owner of his own business, MR Hunting Supplies since 1997.
He is survived by his wife, MaryAnn Rollet of Saint Mary; two sons, Dennis Rollet of Perryville, Bill Parmer, Jr. of Sainte Genevieve; five daughters, Wendy (JR) Hayes of Perryville, Rachel Rollet of Perryville, Elizabeth Rollet of Chester, IL, Gina (Darrel) LeClere of Ozora, Susie (Roger) Elder of Brewer; grandchildren, Enslee, Brandon, Alexandria “Lexie”, Hank, Michael (Ashley) Rollet, Wyatt, Damian, Destiny, Angelina, Halliyah, Dana, Garrett (Jessica) Parmer, Megan; Great-Grandchildren, Kaiden, Tracen, Mason, Raylee, Malia, Levi, Ryan; Many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Rollet, Gary Rollet; father, Gilbert Rollet; mother, Lonetta (Schott) Rollet;
There will be a Celebration of Life at Basler Funeral Home on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 3-7 p.m..
