Kathleen Ann Weinrich, 84, of Perryville passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus.
She was born September 1, 1938 in St. Louis to Albert and Opal (Wirth) Herschbach.
Kathleen and Vernon O. Weinrich were married May 27, 1956 at Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2009. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
Kathy enjoyed reading and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great children and great-great granddaughter. She lived her life as a very giving and generous person who chose to donate her body to St. Louis University School of Medicine for scientific study.
Survivors include daughter, Vicki (Gene) King of Perryville, son, Kenny (Carol) Weinrich of Lone Jack, MO, Sandra K. (Jerry) Bert of Perryville; seven grandchildren, Chris (Tanya) Buchheit, Bridgette (Ben) Baer, Ryan (Carrie) Buchheit, Abi (Jason) Cheney, Bryan (Tori) Bert, Lauren (Matt) Schnurbusch, Brandon Bert; sixteen great-grandchildren, Connor (Bree), Mallory, Alexander, Paige, Bryce Buchheit, Mitchell, Nicholas, Luke Baer, Noah, Grace Buchheit, Matilda, Jack, Eleanor Cheney, Erika, Alivia, Alanna Schnurbusch; great-great-granddaughter, Jolene Buchheit.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon O. Weinrich.
There will be a private service for the family at a later date.
