Jackie Catherine Wengert, 63, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 5, 1959 in Perryville to Walter Sr.and Francis (Unterreiner) Kutz.
Jackie and Steve Wengert were married September 7, 1991 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer.
She was the Executive Director for the Chamber of Commerce for many years.
She was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church where she was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Ladies Sodality, a parish council member, and served on the cemetery board. She was the president of the Perry County Extension Council.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, Godmother and friend. Jackie was a very giving person and had a very strong faith. She loved the community of Perry County and gave generously to it. Jackie’s smile and laugh would light up any room.
Survivors include her husband; son, Curt (Rebecca) Pecaut of Perryville; two daughters, Dawn (Chad) Ozark of Perryville, Lisa Marie (Daniel) Joyce of San Diego, CA; two brothers, Walter (Linda) Kutz Jr. of Perryville, Joe (Kim Schulte) Kutz of Perryville; two sisters, Joan (Harry) McKinney of Springfield, IL, Jean (Larry) Smith of Bonne Terre, MO; six grandchildren, McKayla Pecaut, Grace Ozark, Jack Ozark, McKenzie Pecaut, Lily Ozark, Isabella Pecaut; granddogs, Tina & Stella and numerous nephews, nieces, Godchildren and friends.
