Edward Szabelski, 85, of Perryville died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021 at his residence.
He was born July 7, 1936 in Tamaro, Ill. to Jerome Szabelski and Silverine Miller Szabelski.
He and Anna Ruth Szabelski were married July 5, 1958.
He was a member of the Catholic Faith. He loved golf, Nascar racing, and soap operas.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty (Randy) Denton of Perryville; two sisters, Jody Bowen of Chester, Ill.; Cecelia Osman of Chester, Ill.; brother, Ronnie Szabelski of Ashley, Ill.; four grandchildren, Joseph (Melinda) Szabelski of Sedgewickville, James (Amanda) Denton of Perryville, Travis (Lisa) Denton of Perryville, Barbara Ann Szabelski of Ste. Genevieve, nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and one son, Edward E. Szabelski.
