Doris Hoernig, 93, passed away Jan. 30, 2023 at Sherbrooke Village in St. Louis.
She was born in Perryville Jan. 29, 1930 to Herbert and O’ Linda (Brown) Weinkein. She was married to Paul Hoernig in 1953, who preceded her in death in 1980.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Hoernig of St. Louis; two granddaughters Nicole Herbert and Natalie Pachl.; two great-grandchildren, Tate and Millie Herbert, all of St. Louis; four sisters Ruth Weinkein, Ginny Summer, June Stortz, and Susan Layton, all of Perryville; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.
There will be a mass at St. Dominic Savio Church. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
Kutis Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
