Doris H. Schmidt

Doris H. Schmidt, 93, of Perryville died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021 at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born Nov. 22, 1927 in Seventy-Six, Missouri to Theodore and Ella Luehrs.
She and Marvin “Pepper” Schmidt were married April 21, 1951 at Grace Lutheran Church, in Uniontown.
She was a member of LWML and Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg.
Survivors include three sons, Richard (Karen) Schmidt, Kenneth (Carol) Schmidt, Bruce (Connie) Schmidt; three daughters, Linda (Ronnie) Wiggins, Kathleen Leimbach, Karen (Dennis) Miesner; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; brother, Arnold (Ruth) Luehrs; and sister, Lorene Rush.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Katie Lorenz; sister, Vera Weinhold; brother, Harold Luehrs; and son-in-law, Richard Leimbach.

Visitation was Monday October 18 at Ford and Young East Perry Chapel, and Tuesday Oct. 19 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg.
Funeral Service was at the Church with Rev. Steven Dressler officiating.
Burial followed at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Altenburg.
