Daniel J. Steele

Daniel Joseph Steele, 61, of Perryville passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at his residence.
He was born Feb. 14, 1961 in Perryville to Esmond and Betty (McCarthy) Steele.
He and Donna (Yankey) Steele were married August 22, 1986 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno.
Danny was Owner/Operator of Dan’s Auto Body. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, Perry County Sportmans Club and Knight of Columbus in Perryville.
Survivors include son, Shaun Steele of Perryville; six sisters, Mary Steele of Perryville, Anne Holmes of Perryville, Lori (Brian) Villmer of Perryville, Lisa Haycraft of Ill., Melissa (Jerry) Steele-Lufcy of Perryville, Joan Steele of Perryville; and grandson, Noah Breig.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Morris Holmes.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2022 and from 8-11 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home with Deacon Tom Schumer officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
