Lillian Bohnert

Lillian Bohnert, 99, of Perryville, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, MO.
She was born December 7, 1924 in Gordonville, MO to August O. Maag and Ella (Houck) Maag.
Lillian and Harold “Harry” J. Bohnert were married June 7, 1947 at Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville, MO. He preceded her in death.
She worked as a cook for the public schools.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Lillian was a wonderful seamstress and loved quilting. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons when they were younger.
Survivors include daughter, Brenda Sue (Larry) Brown of Perryville, MO; two grandchildren, Jamie and Joshua (Teasha); two great-grandchildren, Kiara and Alec.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold “Harry” J. Bohnert; two brothers, Lawrence Maag, William Maag; two sisters, Nora Brugger, Ruby Borgfield.
Visitation will be from 8:30-10 am on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
Funeral Service was Monday, March 25, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville with Rev. Joseph Schlie officiating.
Burial was at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
